High voltage test facilities

The mobile cable electric laboratory KAEL-3 (hereinafter - "KAEL-3") is installed in the van of a car and is intended for:

• testing of cable insulation (including with XLPE insulation) and other devices and devices with direct and alternating (50 Hz) high voltage
• burning of defective cable insulation with its subsequent afterburning;
• determination of the route of cable lines;
• topographic determination of places of damage to cable lines by induction and acoustic methods;
• determination of the distance to the place of damage of cables with a voltage of 0.4-10 kV by a pulsed non-burn method at high and low voltage

Terms of Use:  

• ambient temperature range, ^о С ………………………… ... from minus 20 to +40;

• relative air humidity at a temperature of 25  ^о С ……………………………. up to 80%;

The place of operation must be free of vapors of corrosive liquids (acids and alkalis).

Operation of KAEL-3 in explosive environments is prohibited !

KAEL-3 is powered from an industrial single-phase network 220V, 50 Hz. It is allowed to be powered from an autonomous power supply generator with a capacity of at least 2.2 kVA or from a ~ 220V network with an isolated neutral. 

To fully realize the capabilities of KAEL-3, the generator power must be at least 25 kVA.

The mobile cable electric laboratory KAEL-5 (hereinafter - "KAEL-5") is mounted in a van of a car and is designed to determine the locations of damage to cable lines of all types, as well as

• testing the insulation of cables and other devices and devices with direct and alternating
  (50 Hz) high voltage;
• burning of defective cable insulation with its subsequent afterburning;
• determination of the route of cable lines;
• topographic determination of places of damage to cable lines by induction and acoustic methods;
• determination of the distance to the place of damage of high-voltage cables with a voltage of
  0.4-10 kV by a non-burn pulse method at high and low voltage;
• determination of the location of cable damage of the "single-phase short circuit" type.

KAEL-5 is powered from an industrial single-phase network 220V, 50 Hz. Power is allowed from an autonomous power supply generator with a capacity of at least 2.2 kVA. In this case, the operation of KAEL-5 is possible in the modes "TESTING", "EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS", "GAUV-20kV", "GAUV-5kV" at U charger 3kV.

 To fully realize the capabilities of KAEL-5, the generator power must be at least 10 kVA.

• testing of insulation of protective equipment (rubber boots, gloves, power tools, etc.) with alternating high voltage of industrial frequency, adjustable within 0 - 50 kV.
• testing the insulation of power cables and solid dielectrics with a rectified electric voltage up to 60 kV, as well as for testing solid dielectrics with a sinusoidal electric voltage of 50 Hz.
• determination of the breakdown voltage of liquid dielectrics with a voltage of 50 Hz up to 50 kV. (according to GOST 6581-75)
• Measurement of leakage currents of tested objects (protective equipment, arresters, etc.)

KAELP-35 mobile cable electric laboratory (hereinafter - "KAELP-35") is mounted in a van and is designed for:

• testing the insulation of cables and other devices and devices with constant and alternating
   (50 Hz) high voltage;
• burning of defective insulation of cables with its subsequent afterburning;
• determination of the route of cable lines;
• topographic determination of places of damage to cable lines by induction and acoustic methods;
• determination of the distance to the place of damage of cables with a voltage of
  0.4-10 kV by a pulsed non-burn method at high and low voltage.

Terms of Use:  

• ambient temperature range, ^о С - from minus 20 to +40;

• relative humidity at 25  ^to C - 80%;

KAELP-35 is powered from an industrial single-phase network 220V, 50 Hz.

Power supply is allowed from an autonomous power supply generator with a capacity of at least 2.2 kVA or from a ~ 220V mains with an isolated neutral. 

 To fully realize the capabilities of KAELP-35, the generator power must be at least 25 kVA.

To work with the device, two operators are required who have permission to work with electrical installations with voltages above 1000 V.

A combined electrotechnical mobile laboratory (hereinafter - ETL-35K) is mounted in a van and is intended for:

• testing the insulation of high-voltage insulators, electrical cables and other devices and devices with high rectified (up to 60 kV) and alternating (up to 100 kV) power frequency voltage;
• measurements of the tangent of the angle of dielectric losses and capacitance at voltages up to 10 kV;
• low voltage measurements;
• burning and burning of defective cable insulation;
• determination of the distance to the place of damage of high-voltage cables at low voltage and by impulse burn-free method at high voltage;
• determination of the route of cable lines with a voltage of 6-10 kV;
• topographic determination of places of damage to cable lines by induction and acoustic methods.

ETL-35K equipment and devices are designed for operation in regions with a temperate climate. Terms of Use:  

• ambient temperature range,    ^о С - from minus 20 to +40;
• relative humidity at a temperature of 25 C - up to 80%;

ETL-35K is powered from an industrial single-phase network 220V, 50 Hz.

ETL-35K can be powered from an autonomous power supply generator of appropriate power.

The laboratory is serviced by a team of two operators who have a permit to work in circuits with voltages above 1000 V.

High-voltage apparatus AV-45-01 is intended as an attachment to high-voltage test installations for obtaining a test voltage on capacitive objects with a frequency of 0.1 Hz. (In particular for testing XLPE cables).

The ETL-35T mobile test rig (hereinafter referred to as "ETL-35T") is mounted in a van and is designed for:

• testing of insulation of cables and other devices and devices with direct and alternating (50 Hz) high voltage;
• testing of electrical objects at low voltage;
• determination of capacity and dielectric loss tangent of electrical objects at voltages up to 10 kV, frequency 50 and 54 Hz;
• testing of power transformers with determination of no-load and short-circuit losses, transformation ratio and group of windings connection at:

- three-phase excitation with voltage up to 380V;
- three-phase excitation with voltage up to 10000V.

Equipment and devices ETL-35T are designed for operation in regions with a temperate and cold climate and have a climatic version of UHL 4 category I in accordance with GOST 15150-69.

ETL-35T is powered from an industrial three-phase or single-phase AC mains with a frequency of 50 Hz.

The laboratory is serviced by a team of two operators who have a permit to work in circuits with voltages above 1000 V.

High-voltage test stand SVI-100 is intended for use as part of a stationary test stand for testing solid dielectrics, cables and other devices and devices with direct (up to 100 kV) and alternating (up to 75 kV) high voltage;

SVI-100 is designed for operation in regions with a temperate climate.

High-voltage apparatus AV-20-01 is intended for testing capacitive objects (in particular, XLPE cables) with an increased voltage of 0.1 Hz, amplitude up to 20 kV, and also for testing objects with constant voltage up to 20 kV.

High-voltage apparatus AV-60-01 is designed as an attachment to high-voltage test installations for obtaining a test voltage on capacitive objects with a frequency of 0.1 Hz. (In particular for testing XLPE cables).

High-voltage apparatus AV-70-01 is intended as an attachment to high-voltage test installations of alternating voltage with a frequency of 50 Hz to obtain a test voltage on capacitive objects with a frequency of 0.1 Hz. (In particular for testing XLPE cables).

1. Universal breakdown installation UPU-6 (hereinafter referred to as UPU-6) is intended for testing the insulation of electrical equipment and materials with alternating sinusoidal voltage with a frequency of 50 Hz and rectified voltage of negative polarity, adjustable within 0-6 kV with an output current of up to 100 mA at GOST6433.3-71

1. The unit is designed for operation indoors or under a canopy at operating air temperatures from plus 5 ° C to plus 40 ° C, relative humidity up to 80% at a temperature of plus 20 ° C and atmospheric pressure 84.0 - 106.7 kPa (630 - 800 mm Hg).
2. Power supply - single-phase sinusoidal alternating current network with a voltage of 220 ± 20 V, a frequency of 50 ± 1 Hz.
3. The installation is serviced by one operator with the right to work on installations with voltages above 1000V.

High-voltage transformer IOM-100/20 (hereinafter referred to as IOM-100/20) is designed for testing equipment insulation with a sinusoidal electric voltage of 50 Hz.

Universal breakdown installation UPU-10M (hereinafter referred to as the Installation) is intended for testing the insulation of electrical equipment and materials with alternating sinusoidal voltage with a frequency of 50 Hz and rectified voltage of negative polarity, adjustable within 0-10 kV with an output current of up to 100 mA.  
The field of application is electrical engineering and power engineering.
Due to the increased output current, the installation can be used for testing the insulation of large electrical machines at alternating voltage. It can be successfully used for testing protective equipment for appropriate voltages (gloves, etc.), as well as for charging capacitive energy storage devices.
The unit is designed for operation indoors or under a canopy at operating air temperatures from plus 5 ° C to plus 40 ° C, relative humidity up to 80% at a temperature of plus 20 ° C and atmospheric pressure 84.0 - 106.7 kPa (630 - 800 mm Hg).
Power supply - single-phase sinusoidal alternating current network with a voltage of 220-20 V, a frequency of 50-1 Hz. 
The installation is serviced by one operator with the right to work on installations with voltages above 1000V.

Installation of IM-65 type is designed for rectified voltage testing of insulation of power cables, bus ducts, support and bushing insulators, surge arresters, arresters, as well as insulation of power transformers.

The unit can be used as an I / O megohmmeter.

The installation can also check breakdown voltages (real class) of semiconductor power devices (diodes, thyristors, triacs).

The unit is designed for operation under a canopy, excluding direct rainfall or indoors at operating temperatures from 0 ° C to + 40 ° C, relative humidity 80% at a temperature of + 20 ° C and atmospheric pressure 84.0-106.7 kPa (630-800 mm. Hg).
